Hi Starch Pellet is a 100% grain pellet and an excellent source of energy.
Hominy is a high quality byproduct from maize milling and is a high energy feed that is excellent for feeding during early lactation to minimise weight loss and maximise peak milk production.
Maize grain is one of the best sources of energy and carbohydrate for the lactating cow and also ideal for weight gain.
A newly-developed rumen protected bypass fat uniquely-formulated with a specific balance of C16:0 and C18:1 fatty acids to achieve performance benefits through the whole lactation. A calcium salt of palm fatty acids, Mega-Max improves milk yield, milk fat, fertility and body condition score.
A highly-proven, rumen protected bypass fat, Megalac is a source of energy to support body condition, fertility and production. A calcium salt of palm fatty acids, Megalac is one of the most energy dense feeds available.
P8 is a lactose product which is a by-product of cheese manufacturing. Lactose is often referred to as whey permeate, which is the watery part of the milk.
Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is produced from the mechanical extraction of oil from the fruit of the Oil Palm.
Soya bean hulls are a highly digestible fibre source
Soya bean meal is obtained from the process of extracting soya oil from the bean.
Sunflower meal is the by-product of the extraction of oil from sunflower seeds. The meal is pelleted to increase the density and improve flow in silos.
Tapioca comes from a plant called Manihot Esculenta that is grown in the tropics. The fleshy roots (tubers) are processed and dried in the sun to destroy the cyanide present, with the resultant product being tapioca.
Vat Buster is a mix of ingredients designed to maximise production. It is a 4mm pellet that is great in a blend or on its own.
As with any grain or meal feed products need to be kept dry as moisture combined with heat can cause fungi to grow. Common on farm storage methods are: in a shed or unused fertiliser bin; in a covered pit; on a concrete pad; or in a cutting, covered with plastic sheet and tyres. Most feed should be used reasonably expediently (within 40 - 50 days). The longer you plan to store feed products the better your storage facilities need to be.
