Originally from Somerset, United Kingdom, where he earned his agronomist qualification, Guy Mason now serves as HSR's National Sales Manager. With over 18 years of experience in New Zealand's maize industry, Guy is a highly trusted and knowledgeable agronomist. His background spans many management roles across agricultural contracting, rural retail, and seed companies, with a significant impact at HSR since August 2021. Guy’s portfolio of expertise is supported by his hands-on experience growing forage crops, so he knows what it’s like to be a grower. Outside of work, he enjoys quality time with his family, playing tennis, fishing, and exploring New Zealand in the family motorhome with his wife.

David Muller joined HSR in August 2023, bringing with him 14 years of diverse experience in the maize industry. His career in maize began in 2010 when he transitioned from 37 years of dairy farming to a role as a maize seed research technician. In 2013, David sold his farm and moved to a lifestyle block in Ohaupo with his family and their cat, Paris. David is passionate about everything in the outdoors. You can find David out fishing, tramping, biking, or spending quality time with his family. His love for growing stuff and watching them thrive drives the great work he does at HSR and highlights the personalised support he offers all growers that he interacts with to maximise their maize performance opportunities.
